The author of the poem inspires man to observe that the soul that animates him is of a higher divine origin, that came down to this world for a specific role. And therefore - one must be careful to "fulfill her needs" befitting her essence, and fulfill her destiny in her descent into the world.
He insists that every night the human soul ascends to the upper world to be judged for its actions on the passing day and therefore the person must pay attention to how it will be revealed - whether as a "disgraceful slave" soiled with iniquities, or as an "adorned bride" adorned with mitzvot.

𝗠𝗮𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝘇𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗿 is a Singer and musician who weaves Balkan and Middle-Eastern musical traditions with her Jewish roots. In her musical creation she combines ancient piyutim (chants) with folklore melodies.
Maayan's original compositions are inspired from Greek, Bulgarian, Georgian and Turkish traditions.
Maayan is the founder and voice leader of 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲, singer of the greek band Tavernikos, founder of The Balkan Witches Choir and conductor of various workshops, meetings and tours focusing on Balkan traditional singing with a Hebrew and feminine spirit
Her encounter with the ancient Jewish chant “𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗛 𝗟𝗔 𝗘𝗟”, influenced by her Jewish-Turkish roots, led her to write a composition inspired by Sufi music, intended to evoke an ecstatic connection with the creator. Her vocal composition was inspired by Polyphonic balkan singing, which connects the listeners to ancient tribal vibrations.

מעיין צפריר היא זמרת ומוזיקאית המחברת בין מסורות מוזיקליות מהבלקן והמזרח התיכון לבין שורשיה היהודיים. ביצירה המוזיקלית שלה היא אורגת יחדיו פיוטים ומילים מהמקורות עם לחנים עממיים.

המפגש עם מילות הפיוט "אודה לאל" בשילוב עם שורשיה היהודיים-טורקיים, הובילו לכתיבת הלחן
בהשראת מוזיקה סופית. לחן שנועד לעורר חוויה אקסטטית של דבקות וחיבור לבורא עולם.
העיבוד הווקאלי נכתב בהשראת שירת נשים פוליפונית מהבלקן, המחברת את המאזינים למחוזות קדומים ושבטיים בנפשם.
